Below are some suggested resources to help students with their academic preparation for college.

California Education Round Table
The California Education Round Table works to help all students meet high academic standards in order to achieve success in higher education or the workplace. CERT's College: Making It Happen brochure and videotape address ways to plan early for the academic and financial aspects of attending college. The Futures: Making High School Count brochure offers a two-page summary of the process. California State University

College Board
The College Board is best known for administering the PSAT and SAT tests. In addition, it provides detailed guidelines and tips on how to plan for the academic requirements of getting into and being in college. Find these tools on the web at http://www.collegeboard.com/student/plan/index.html

CSU Mentor
CSUMentor is an online resource designed to help students and their families learn about the California State University system, select a CSU campus to attend, plan to finance higher education, and apply for admission. Find detailed information on the web at www.csumentor.edu/

Educators for Fair Consideration
The mission of Educators for Fair Consideration is to support low-income immigrant students in their pursuit of a college education in the United States. The organization provides various educational materials to help documented and undocumented students achieve their dreams of attending a U.S. college. Hispanic Scholarship Fund
Based in San Francisco, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund is a national organization that offers college scholarships to Hispanic students. It publishes Destination: University, which will aid you in planning to attend college. National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA)

San Francisco College Access Center
The San Francisco College Access Center provides comprehensive college preparation information and assistance. The Education Resources Institute (TERI)
TERI promotes educational opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds by administering loans for students and sponsoring college access programs for students who are among the first in their families to go to college. University of California Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP)
EAOP aims to prepare students from under-resourced communities for admission to college. In the San Francisco school district, students enrolled at Burton, Mission, and Thurgood Marshall high schools are currently eligible for UC Berkeley's EAOP.
