Supporting ECAP
ECAP is organized and operated entirely through the efforts of dozens of volunteers, including the donated time of our speakers. We rely on monetary and in-kind donations from generous individuals and institutions to make our program possible. Donations to ECAP cover the expenses of running our seminar, which this year will include approximately 200 families of San Francisco middle school students. ECAP's expenses include:
Your monetary or in-kind donation can make a big difference in our success by allowing us to produce the ECAP seminar each year and to extend our offerings towards our goal of helping all San Francisco students and their parents consider and plan for a college education. How to Donate You can make a monetary donation with a credit card or PayPal account by using the PayPal button above. ECAP is a community service initiative of the Harvard Club of San Francisco (HCSF), and as such HCSF processes online donations to our program, but all donated funds are credited to ECAP's budget, and are not shared with HCSF or Harvard University. To make other arrangements, or to make an in-kind donation, please contact us at ecapinfo@ecapsf.org. The ECAP Mission and Program ECAP's mission is to inspire and empower middle school students to plan for and attain a college degree. Our program is an annual half-day seminar that addresses eighth grade students from San Francisco public and charter schools about the benefits of a college education. This year, we hope to present to more than 400 attendees, but we need your help! Even with the tireless work of our volunteers and extensive logistical support from SFUSD, we still need nearly $5,000 annually to produce our seminar. Your donation can make a big impact! Just some of the things that make our program unique:
Please donate today to help us give motivated children the resources and information they need to succeed in college. Thank you for your support! |
